Question: Why is the media is praying woes for the labour party?
Labour has done more for the UK and the conservtives did, you spend a few minutes to see a doctor today while you had to wait hours and even days during maggies times. So much investment in our children’s education and health. Best economy in the Euro zone for any years now and alternative to Labour is your choosing an alternative to the good work of labour, which is back to the conservative years.
Answer: Wow…where to start…
The media goes after Labour because when they do something stupid it actually matters. When the Liberals say they want to give the vote to prisoners it doesn’t really matter because they’re never going to be in government. When Labour allow foreign criminals to leave prison without being deported it matters because real people are murdered or raped as a result. When Ministers know all the facts and still refuse to resign the only proper response is total contempt. I think you’ll find most of the country is right behind the media on that one.
More money in education and health? Yes it needed to be done but it should have been done competently. Labour has wasted most of the extra cash on pointless targets, management consulants and failed IT projects. Meanwhile we have government ministers who would have a hard time getting a job stacking shelves in Tesco if they weren’t in politics. And most of the country is paying stupid tax bills that keep going up far faster than inflation or pay rises. When you’re trying to raise a family it’s a little difficult when some smug fool in the Treasury keeps whacking up Council Tax by 20% plus each year.
And one more thing….WE’RE NOT IN THE EURO ZONE.
