Question: Call for Malaysia to join the global alliance of democracies?
Peter McCain, Republican candidate for US presidential elections, called for global alliance of democracies that include Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand apart from Europe. He reckons this would ensure safety for the 21st century. Turkey is in in already. Malaysia has the opportunity to influence US’s foreign policies on palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan by joining this alliance and also increased prosperity by attracting investment and tourism.
How?
Clean Elections
Good Governance
Religious freedom
Respect for Human rights: No to ISA
Equal opportunities for all citizens
Do you think there is a way forward?
Do you think Malaysia would come out of NATO (No action; Talk only; not the other NATO North Atlantic treaty force)
Answer: I think it’s a step in the right direction, but at the same time I also think that it would have little to zero impact upon America foreign policies I.E. controlling (Or trying to) the world’s oil production and reserves.
We already have enough ‘Toothless Tigers’ in the world such as NATO, UN, USAN, OPEC, ASEAN, the list is endless.
We have all seen the hypocrisy of the ‘Puppet-masters’ pulling the strings behind Washington’s back. They like to talk about ‘Human rights’ and ‘Freedom’ and ‘Democracy’ etc.
But, at the same time they are talking about those admirable things they are sending their huge Imperialistic Armies to control the oil fields in Iraq, Afghanistan (Iran coming soon?) and countless other countries to make sure they get the oil they need to maintain their dominance and at the same cheap price.
But it wont do any harm to join it I suppose, it will be another feather in Malaysia’s cap (Let’s just hope it’s not going to cost the tax payers millions of dollars each year though)
Turkey have joined already? I used to know a guy who studied in Turkey, quite a nice country I’m told, but I still prefer Kuching/Sarawak somewhat.
