Question: is there an index fund for the infrastructure sector?
Does anyone know if there is a sector that can be invested in. I am in a Investment Club and want to present this as an option as we have not yet placed money to invest yet we are still in the reasearch stage but Iwe have until Feb before the money is down.
I like Nustar as a company and would invest in them myself if I had the $3000 minimun needed to start out with Vangaurd, however is there a index fund sector or EFT that can be bought that covers such companies?
Answer: The problem is that “infrastructure” is not a well defined industry sector. It includes things like communications and utilities and bridge and highway construction and could be extended with a little imagination to materials used in these areas like copper and cement.
