- Review projected cash position of managed portfolios and calculate the amount to be transferred between accounts, placed for time deposits or arranged to have Foreign Exchange;

- Prepare and send cash instructions to bank;

- Monitor settlement status of cash activities;

- Liaise with banks in cash settlement issues;

- Record transactions into investment system (Portia);

- Interact and support Fund Managers/Central Dealer/Regional offices for cash activities.

What kind of cash management/activities experience do they want?

Answer: Frankly, if you don’t understand the job description, this job is not for you. It won’t make sense to apply to it. Very often employers write ads with jargon that only people in their business know. If you don’t know it, that means you are not the person they look for. This ad doesn’t consist any jargon, but if you know what fund managers and central dealers do, you would know their requirement. However it will take time to explain the whole process.
